Mary died March 25, 2015, at the age of 89. Wife of late Charles J. Funk, survived by children Theresa & Lou Brown, Charles & Lorraine Funk, and Mary Pat & Tom Bischoff; grandchildren Elisabeth & Brent, Jennifer & Paul, Nicholas, Melissa; and great-grandson, Caleb, who was the joy of her last years. Mary was born on September 6, 1925, in The Bronx, New York, the daughter of Italian immigrants. She and Charles, married in 1953, enjoyed many years together in Nanuet, NY, and later settled in Worthington, OH, where...

Mary died March 25, 2015, at the age of 89. Wife of late Charles J. Funk, survived by children Theresa & Lou Brown, Charles & Lorraine Funk, and Mary Pat & Tom Bischoff; grandchildren Elisabeth & Brent, Jennifer & Paul, Nicholas, Melissa; and great-grandson, Caleb, who was the joy of her last years. Mary was born on September 6, 1925, in The Bronx, New York, the daughter of Italian immigrants. She and Charles, married in 1953, enjoyed many years together in Nanuet, NY, and later settled in Worthington, OH, where she founded the library at St. Michael School in addition to volunteering for over 40 years at the American Cancer Society Thrift Shop. Her life was rich with family, friends, and travel, and she kept her sense of humor with her, even in her last moments. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Mary E.
